Christmas Gift Guide | 2015

It’s finally that time again for red nail polishes, forgotten diets, twinkle lights, Love Actually  – and thin wallets.

For the Make Up Maniac.

You can do no wrong with a festively-packaged palette for Christmas. However, some palettes are nice to unwrap and engender an exhaustive first-day craze, only before the receivers realize the inconvenience of the packaging or the quality slip and never open it again. DON’T WORRY. Some products do live up to the hype.

This Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit received a lot of criticisms for not worth the value, it’s a beautiful product nonetheless. This palette is present perfection especially for those that have yet to try the regular products. The golden packaging screams Christmas as well.

On the other end of the value-worthy spectrum, the Kevyn Aucoin Contour Book is worth every penny. And maybe a couple hundred more. Kevyn Aucoin products are a treat as always and your makeup junkie will know its worth! (I may or may not have bought two).

I debated putting this in here, out of the fear that if this gets anymore hyped up, it would sold out. However, not that anybody reads my blog, so here it is: Nars One Shocking Moment blush palette. Artistic packaging, decent sized products, great selection of shades and does not include Orgasm like every single Nars palette! This one is unique and clutter-worthy.

Okay, now this is for the makeup addict. That friend that needs to get her hands on every new release, and that one that therapy is probably suggested to. By the rare chance that she haven’t already put down orders for these, the UD Gwen Stefani and Tartelette in the Bloom are the hot new items of the seasons and both so worth the hype.

For the Quality Pursuer.

There’s always a friend in your group that lives a fuller, more exquisite life than everybody else. Her home decors are on point, she has a particular penchant for handmade scents, has a vase of fresh lilies on her breakfast table and you are not quite sure what presents would suit her taste. Here’s my attempt.

Once we get over the refreshing and unmatched scents of Diptyque, the breathtaking design sweeps us off our feet again. If you have some budget, this Holiday Candle Set that features the paintings of French artists Julien Colombier would be a dream come true for all home scents lovers.

For the Hipstress.

Frends headphones are some of the most comfortable and definitely the most stunning ones on the market.  Some of the new releases have already became my favorites – especially the Gunmetal & Rose Gold, and these Gold Resin Cap sets. And if you are feeling extra fancy, their collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana are absolutely gorgeous.

xx L.
